How can I create/restore a backup?

< 1 min read

With a backup you create a copy of all data saved in mediteo. You have two possibilities to create and restore a backup:

  1. Local Backup (offline)

You can save a local backup on your device or in a place of your choice. The local backup will be protected by a password you choose. Write down this password in a place where you can find it again.

Create:

More → Settings → Local backup (offline) → Create → Choose a password → Select storage location → Save

Restore:

More → Settings → Local backup (offline) → Restore → Select storage location → Select backup → Enter password

  1. CLICKDOC-Backup (online)

If you are logged in with a CLICKDOC Account, a backup will automatically be created at regular intervals. You can change this setting as desired. Currently only iOS backups can be restored on iOS and only Android backups can be restored on Android.

Create:

More → Settings → CLICKDOC backup (online) → Create

Restore:

More → Settings → CLICKDOC backup (online) → Restore → Select backup
